Who am I?
I was born and raised in Italy, but I soon found out that national borders are invisible lines only there to be crossed. After studying foreign languages and taking a masters degree in Intercultural Communication, I worked in culture and communication skills consultancy in London for three years. In 2014 I decided to escape the corporate world to embark on a new life journey following my two big passions: travelling and yoga. In June that year I completed my 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Flow with Vydia Jacqueline Heisel from Frog Lotus Yoga. Not long after, I packed my bags and started a backpacking trip in South East Asia to deepen my yoga practice, teach yoga internationally and play acroyoga with wonderful people. In Cambodia, after completing a two month internship as a yoga teacher at Hariharalaya, a yoga and meditation retreat centre in a village just outside Siem Reap, I got back on the road and landed on Koh Rong Samloem, where you could find me behind the counter at Eco Sea Dive and on the beach teaching morning and sunset yoga. Before leaving Asia I also completed a 60 hr Thai Massage beginner course at Sunshine Massage School in Chiang Mai.
I see yoga as a journey of self discovery, a mean to create a deep connection with other human beings, the Universe and life and I believe in the importance of keeping playfulness and lightness in the practice.
I am now based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, where I teach vinyasa flow yoga, acrobatic yoga and private yoga classes. You can also find me at more yoga studios in Hilversum and Amsterdam. I also keep on teaching at yoga retreats internationally (e.g. at the yoga and surf school Magic Surf in Taghazout, Morocco).
"Veronica's classes leave you feeling revitalised. She is uplifting in her approach to yoga giving confident guidance that allows you to incorporate it into your daily routine. A highly skilled instructor, her warm nature is wonderfully appreciated." Cassandra, Australia
"I had the pleasure of meeting Veronica at Hariharalaya, in Cambodia. She was volunteering her time as a Yoga instructor. Her practice and her classes mirror her personality. They are fun, dedicated and full of heart. I found the way that poses were explained incredibly helpful and detailed. She dedicated much of the class to correcting posture to make sure that everyone was balanced and nobody could potentially injure themselves. They were honestly so much fun and relaxed but still left your muscles burning. Time flew as fast as she does all over the world." Ashleigh, Australia
"I cannot thank you enough for opening my mind and body to the practice of yoga. I have tried it previously and for some reason never before felt the benefits or connection to the art like I did under your guidance. Your teaching style truly touched me and opened my spirit to fully appreciate the benefits of yoga. Your peaceful presence set such a good atmosphere and your passion for yoga shone through, you helped me achieve things I never thought I could and helped me find peace within myself. I am eternally grateful to you for teaching me and helping me find my way. Thank you." Sheena, UK
